Treschietto Onion
Grown following ancient techniques that preserve the seed, treated only with natural fertilizer in a soil with unique characteristics that guarantees genuineness and flavor, appreciated for its delicacy.
Perfect base for sauces and fruit preserves but also the protagonist of traditional local dishes: Barbotta with corn flour, Onion Pie cooked in the traditional cast iron "testo".
Lunigiana Honey
We produce a delicate Honey from Lunigiana, obtained from the nectar of flowers transformed by industrious domestic bees.
There are three types of honey based on flowering: Acacia's Honey, Chestnut Honey and Wildflower Honey.
Excellent if consumed together with traditional Lunigiana dishes, perfect for enhancing the taste of cheeses.
Chetsnuts
They have supported the population of Lunigiana for centuries, where a real chestnut culture still exists today.
There are many nutritious and tasty dishes still present in the local gastronomy: bread, the Marocca from Casola, the typical lasagne bastarde and the popular chestnut-based cakes,such as castagnaccio, pattona, sweet polenta and pancakes.
